As per title, anyone going, booked ???? ive just booked 3 places, this has to be the most under publicised rs show of the yr....... anyone got any specific details?? or booked
Theres 3 off us from the West of Scotland RSOC track division on track Steve, myself, Stu and IMSY, and maybe Mad Mac with his cossie powered mk4 escort, still trying to persuade him We have 5 cars on a clubstand too, so not bad numbers coming down from our group for the event
Both myself and Cossie Si survived Castle Combe and we are booked on this as well - see you all there
bring it on boys, nice turn out from the west of scotland again i see, i can see a £pound coming back over the border lol pic of you and cossy si looks mint dave, and ne smoke..... that new block holding together nicely then?
I found out why I was a bit smokey at Croft - 2 x inlet valve stem seals had dislodged and lifted off guide (have a plan to solve this when head comes off again lol) Block appears fine but I was short shifting and never went over 7500 towards the end of the day Not a drop of water or oil used so signs are very good at the moment
i had the same problem earlier this yr with my rs2, bought a tool off burtons for taking springs off in situ. good lil tool for saving a lot of work. looking forward to tockwith, it looks a little narrow for drifting lol
Is this the one you used ? Part No: DRA57630 Status: Available Price: £9.95 (inc.Vat) Description: VALVE SPRING COMPRESSOR, IN-SITU
eye , that be the one, bit fiddly but works, so does the bent screwdriver down and up the spark plug hole to keep the valve up
Any updates on the Karting contest between the local groups, thas should be a great laugh Ill need to beep our 4th driver for our team at the Karts , to see if hes available for the event, but Im sure he can make it McSTIG
