David lives in Altrincham with his wife Colleen and their cat, Snowy. He is a member of Cheshire local group. His first RS was the iconic Escort RS Turbo Series 1 which he bought in 1988. Apart from a short hiatus, he's owned an Escort RS Turbo pretty much continuously ever since. He also owns a 2WD Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth.

Now retired, David was a Chartered Engineer for 40 years and worked within the Tier 1 supply chain to the Automotive Industry throughout his career.
