Paul rejoined the RSOC in 2002 shortly after purchasing a E plate Sierra RS Cosworth and soon got involved with the Lancashire Group becoming an active member until becoming the Chairman in 2005.
Paul oversaw the growth of the Lancashire Group and the reinstatement of the Towneley Show in 2006.
In 2011 Paul then organised a track day and show at Angelsey Circuit in 2011 before handing over the Chairman's role after being at the helm for 6 successful years.
Paul has previously served on the national committee in 2006/7 in the role of Press & Publicity (now media & marketing).
In 2015 Paul was appointed to the role of Registrar for the 3 door Sierra Cosworth, a position he continues in to this date.

Paul was appointed as Chairman for the club in October 2016.

Paul currently and proudly owns his rare E plate black Sierra Cosworth that he purchased in 2001 from St. Ives. The car originally was from Paul's local RS dealership Lakeland Ford, has low owners and a fully documented history. The car was used as a Demonstrator before being sold to Quick's Ford in Manchester to be their showroom model. Paul has undertaken a full nut and bolt restoration of the car in 2015 and hopes to have the car ready for the 2017 show season. During Paul's ownership he has taken the car to France twice to watch the famous Le-Mans 24hr race with the car never letting him down.

Paul has also owned other Ford RS models in the past including 2 Escort Cosworth (large turbo) models and a Series 2 Escort Turbo that became the donor car for a project of putting all of the running gear and engine in to an Orion.

Paul's current daily driver is an Alpina D3 Biturbo
