My 2wd Saph story
here's the day after i got it:
Then i threw a quick bucket o water over it..
took her up north to the lakes....
accidently bought the inner lights a few years ago thinking they'd fit 2k morrettes... and was donnated a free saph splitter
then that fell off
then the other day i re-arranged the boot badges and fitted the old skool light blue ford badge
thats it so far, but i have a new splitter to go on... oh and i made a gauge holder but not took any interior pics so can't show you that yet
Fitted some standard headlights:
Painted the grill:
then sent the wheels for a re-furb:
Got them back fresh and fitted a front splitter...
got a shot on the Rolling Road, 265bhp and 255FtLb of torque
Then today the amber lenses turned up
i'm not so sure? ive been told it came from factory with the smoked so got the stuff to put back if i change my mind
ive not posted for ages, so here's a little update
over christmas and most of Jan i had the back end stripped off the car to get a look at underside, anywhay i'll show you a couple pics.... wasnt too bad all considering being used for 21 years!!
diff, tank and rear suspension out.
Drivers rear arch
bit of the sill
Near side rear sring mount, previous patch work
Off side chassie leg
Drivers seat mount
bit of the boot floor.
then after cutting, cleaning and a bit of welding....
new arch repair:
we were almost there...
a bit of paint and some assembly
still slight finishing to do with fitting the skirts but still using it and loving it
