whats the story behind it Mark, how come its just been sat for so long.

Is it heading to Sytners in Cardiff for the service, might have to pop down there if it is and have a gander as my mums worked for them for years, love to see the look on the techies faces when it arrives.

I remember these when they were new, she used to tell me when one was in fresh from Germany so I could have a sit in it when they were Wyndams in Culverhouse Cross.

Have another look at the photo's you will see that the cars are sat on different surfaces!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's not one there were two identical cars both parked next to each other for 20yrs

Ones done 59 kilometre's the other has done 92 kilometre's

DONT let bmw dealers near it to clean it, ive seen what some of them do and it aint nice, and i would definately stay with it when its being worked on.

I can just see the spotty 18 yerold mechanic saying he has to take it out on a road test as part of the service

my mate worked for BMW years ago and had to take a 325 out for a road test after it's first service. Wet roundabouts, RWD and a young lad with a heavy right foot don't mix too well.....

I just found this thread, someone posted it on my E30Fansite Forum and we're all just drooling about this find!! This is truly unbelievable that someone bought 2!! cars for more than 100.000 Dutch guilders ( thats 50.000 pounds I guess? ) EACH and than forget about them...

Bonkers, you are truly lucky with this buy and I'm very jalouse haha, I hope you will post more pics soon and treat it with the respect and care a car of this statue disserves!
