escort mk2 rs2000 rebuild / cosworth

just wanted to show you what i have been doing the last 3months

i got my self a escort mk2 rs2000 1978 it was just a shell

after getting it home i had to work out what i was going to do with it

so it starts
roll cage, coilovers, large gearbox tunnel, large diff tunnel, 4linked, panhard,
atles, plus more so here are my pictures from the day i got the car to now...

rollcage,diff tunnel, gearbox tunnel, 4liked and cosworth bulkhead mod
rear turrets

4link boxes and turrets had to be cut out and redone due to someone putting them in the wrong place

stripped and cleaned and painted block and rocker

plenum has been sent off to be mod'ed to get more air flow

sump has gone to the same place to be big winged and baffle plate

for a first ever build you are doin a fantastic job mate! well impressed, very nice motor. may i ask whereabouts the bodyshop is? im in colchester and that seems like a local code to me on there phone number? will be needing a decent paintshop over the winter for my S2

cosworth 2wd sump thats been big wing'd mod'd to fit mk2 Xmember (done by russel brown of DB CUSTOMS 07725902960 OR EBAY USER DEATHBOX666) a real work of art.

mod'd oil pick up pipe done by DB CUSTOMS (4x4 pick up pipe made longer to go with the mod'd sump
