Default Fiesta RS parts that are obsolete.

Now I think we are all well aware that certain parts for the Fiesta RS' are no longer available from Ford.

Its only going to get worse with more and more parts becoming obsolete

So what about we start a list up with parts thats are what my local dealer says to me alot "no longer available"

I will start with the parts I know and edit as we get more added.

Perhaps Alan or Matt J can provide Finis no.s

FRST parts

Green stripes, all are now nla inc. bumper inserts

Gearnob

Fuel line clips

Both Interior door handles & inserts

Radiator

Throttle Postion Sensor

Exhaust

Bottom blue boost hose

Door cards

Wheels & centre caps

Seats f & r

Breather pot and oneway valve

manifold heat shield

cold air inlet pipe to air filter box

RS1800

Throttle cable

RH side engine mount

Pass side handle insert

wheels

gearnob

Tailgate badges/decals

Used on Both models;

Pre-93 Ford badges

Headlights

I'm sure I've missed loads so help me out people

mem. no. 36670

I got a throttle position sensor a while back - the original part is NLA but there is (or was) a replacement part still readily available.

Is the RS1800 gearknob still available?

I've recently tried to get a manifold heatshield and the cold air pipe that fits to the airbox on a Frst. Been told that both of these are NLA.

Cheers,

which bit is this gary??? is it the plastic pipe that goes from the side of the standard airbox to the pipe that comes off the breather hose?? or is the big rubber boost hose that goes for the turbo compressor housing to the airbox (looks like a saxaphone shape) ???

Hello Chris,

Sadly it's neither of the two pipes that you have mentioned.
I've tried to make a drawing of it which I'm going to try and upload over the weekend, but as you can see from the fact that I've no picture of the car in my signature (yet) I'm not exactly computer literate!
In the meantime thanks again for the offer of help!

Regards,

Gary

Does anyone know if the drivers side spotlight is still available ? (the inner one). One was smashed by a stone on the motorway over the weekend - I hope it won't be too hard to replace but I couldn't find one on Ebay...

Try GMS Capri spares mate 0191377 1718. They may have some they have sorted me out in the past with a few hard to find bits. Hope this helps if not try the Fiesta Centre Norwich. 01603 722333. Failing that try fordpartsuk.com and put in a parts request if there are any out there they will find out for you.

This car's starting to get on my wick now. Just come back from a weekend away and the steering wheel went "furry" on the way back down the motorway lol. It's now looks suade effect on the right hand side.

Does anyone know if the wheel is still available?

that seems quite reasonable considering its brand spanking new. Unfortunately I forgot to say that we need the airbag wheel . It's still dark grey though.

Are Escort ones the same diameter?

Cheers
