just wonderd if anyone here has got my old rs2000 j69owl
bit of a rare car in that it was the first one ever to get turbocharged
by the masters of going faster BRODIE BRITTAIN RACING.
had the testdrive of all testdrives around the very pleasant Brackley
with noneother than the man himself Dave Brodie,
the car was featured on the front cover of fast car and car and car
conversions,it was in a few others too,had to sell it because of a
mortgage. 1 touring car driver owner,history,been in car magazines
and i had to sell it

had a 4x4 rs2000 too n69dpo petrol blue,people used to say they
were not as fast as 2wd but around the lanes the 4x4 was stunning
my mum had a rs2000 mk7 my bro a mk5 and me another 2wd mk7

i'm so glad my red escort cosworth belongs to me and not someone like who owns my old rs2000 which was in stunning condition when i and dave brodie owned it

just shown it to my mrs who used to look pretty in sat in the proper recaro chair it had when it was mine and she reckons its unloved not a pile of 5hit.

think i have high standards and i hate to see my old cars looking not as good as when i owned it.
had some happy times in it and still have old magazines and the rear number plate with bbr's company name on and old style phone number,even have the original grill still which my mate cracked when he smashed it up lol ahh the old days..........

K408 TEY is currently for sale on eBay. Intrigued to see what it goes for as it's just like mine only not as good! But if it stays at its current price I might have a punt at that too. Not thought yet how I'd tell the wife, probably just mess with her mind and convince her they are the same car!
