Capri`s from my youth

I have joined the forum and posted about an Escort RS1800 I knew of in my youth.

This got me thimking about other interesting Fords i remember,

When I was in Printing College in Liverpool from about 1979-1983 I used to walk from Lime street station to Bold st which was by the Anglican Cathederal

There was a small Ford dealer on the way and I`m sure they used to have a RS2600 Capri in the window for ages.

Does anybody remember this car or can shed some more light on my story?

Also there used to two RS3100 Capris in the next village to me at about the same time,i seem to remember they belonged to two brothers?

I think they lived in the Corwen/Bala region of North Wales?

Hi andy, there was a RS2600 in the liverpool area actually 3 of them I believe, also your right there were 2 RS3100's in Corwen owned by brothers one of the brothers owned 4 different RS3100's.

Are there any RS2600 in this country at the moment?
The 3 in Liverpool must have been pretty exotic at the time?
Any stories about them.

Hi there are approx a dozen RS2600,s in the uk at the moment with about two or three on the road, 2 of the 3 that were in Liverpool area are still about but have been re-shelled
