Default Fitting the airtech rad?

AS I PREVIOUSLY SAID I NEEDED A RAD AS MINE WAS LEAKING. I BOUGHT AN AIRTECH ONE FROM AUTOSPECIALISTS EARLIER THIS WEEK ALONG WITH A DOUBLE CAPACITY AIRTECH INTERCOOLER.

I UNBOXED BOTH EARLIER TO FIND ITS NOT AS SIMPLE AS I FIRST IMAGINED TO FIT! I ASSUME SOMEONE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM WHILE FITTING THEIRS, THE BOTTOM OF THE RAD IS FOULING ON THE SUBFRAME BOLTS!

WHAT IS THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM?

HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

MARC

I have an airtec rad and full width intercooler in my S2 (however is the older style intercooler) when you say the subdrame bolts o you mean the ones for the gearbox cross member?

I had the same problem!

the top r/hand pin is too far to the right!

i relieved a bit of the pin and filed the top bracket above the intercooler to try and move it all over!

took me hours to get close but not quite right!

I found the I/cooler was too close to the front panel! on the left side!

basically you have to make the best of what you've got or return and explain the problems!
